Information is KING! There is almost no reason to not educate yourself if you are trying to build or develop a better sounding acoustical recording environment. Even if you do not purchase the isolation or acoustic books directly, there are websites and forums dedicated to dealing with existing builds, rehabbing older homes or beginning fresh from out of the ground.

The search box located on the SiteMap / Directory page has been set up to search JohnLsayers.com and Recording.org concurrent to create a wider, more accurate and informative search return for your home studio design and construction related concerns. These are, in my opinion, the highest rated forums on the Internet that builders of sound related structures visit and get qualified, often expert, advice.
